Ted’s sweet and sour cabbage soup

Ingredients
  • Sour salt – to taste
  • 2 packages short ribs
  • one head cabbage
  • 1 large can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Boil short ribs, lower heat and cook for one hour
  2. Skim fat
  3. Add all ingredients except cabbage.
  4. Cut up cabbage and add bit by bit.
  5. Season to taste
  6. Cook for a couple of hours
