Susan Force’s Blonde Brownies

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter, slightly melted
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 teas vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teas baking powder
  • 1/4 teas soda
  • 1/2 – 3/4 bag chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup nuts (opt.)
Instructions
  1. Soften butter to the point of being almost melted.
  2. Cream with sugar and vanilla
  3. Mix in egg
  4. Then add dry ingredients
  5. Mix in chips last or sprinkle them on top
  6. Spread dough in a 9 X 13 inch pan
  7. Bake 375 for 25 min
