Summer Chutney
Ingredients
  • 4 large peaches about a lb.
  • 2 large pears
  • 2 large granny smith apples
  • 2 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 2 teas cinnamon
  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • 3 TAB Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
  1. Peal fruits and cut in chunks.
  2. In a large pan combine all ingredients except Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered about 1 hour stirring often.
  4. Add Worcestershire sauce and continue to simmer 15 more minutes.
  5. Cool and pour into jars for giving as presents to use with Indian food.
  6. Makes lots, keeps for several years in refrigerator.
