| Summer Chutney |
Ingredients
- 4 large peaches about a lb.
- 2 large pears
- 2 large granny smith apples
- 2 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup raisins
- 2 teas cinnamon
- 2 cups white vinegar
- 3 TAB Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Peal fruits and cut in chunks.
- In a large pan combine all ingredients except Worcestershire sauce.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered about 1 hour stirring often.
- Add Worcestershire sauce and continue to simmer 15 more minutes.
- Cool and pour into jars for giving as presents to use with Indian food.
- Makes lots, keeps for several years in refrigerator.
