Shortbread

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4cup powdered sugar
  • (or 1/2 cup splenda)
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teas. Baking powder
  • 1 teas vanilla
Instructions
  1. Cut all ingredients together at once
  2. Drizzle in the vanilla as you mix.
  3. Once dough comes together roll on a floured surface 1/4 inch to 1/8 thick
  4. Cut into shapes
  5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees, until just turning golden brown
Notes

This recipe is great with splenda, you can replace all the sugar or just the powdered sugar. When using splenda you can increase the vanilla up to one TAB.
