Ohmi’s Sour Cream Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teas. soda
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3 squares melted baking chocolate
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup milk
Instructions
  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add egg
  3. Add melted chocolate
  4. Then add sour cream
  5. Blend well with each addition.
  6. Add sifted flour alternately with milk.
  7. Bake in two greased 9″ layer pans at 350, for 25-30 min.
Notes

On paper this recipe is marked as Joel’s favorite. Somewhat confusing now that there is a new Ohmi and a new Joel. The original title and notation refer to Florence and Joel Gottlieb respectively.
