Meat Muffins

Ingredients
  • 3/4 pound ground pork
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 teas. salt (opt.)
  • 1 teas. pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped sage
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 box puff pastry dough
Instructions
  1. Combine pork, onion, eggs, (reserve a bit for sealing later) bread crumbs and spices.
  2. roll puff pastry sheets to thin them out just a touch.
  3. Cuts out twelve or more 4 inch rounds.
  4. Put dough into greased muffin tins, lining the sides and bottom with some dough hanging over.
  5. Fill each tin about 3/4 full with filling
  6. Cover tops with scraps and fold over the edges to seal.
  7. Cut slit into the top of each “muffin”
  8. Brush top with reserve egg if you want.
  9. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
  10. Let stand 10 or 15 minutes before serving.
