Meat Muffins
Ingredients
- 3/4 pound ground pork
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 1 teas. salt (opt.)
- 1 teas. pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped sage
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 box puff pastry dough
Instructions
- Combine pork, onion, eggs, (reserve a bit for sealing later) bread crumbs and spices.
- roll puff pastry sheets to thin them out just a touch.
- Cuts out twelve or more 4 inch rounds.
- Put dough into greased muffin tins, lining the sides and bottom with some dough hanging over.
- Fill each tin about 3/4 full with filling
- Cover tops with scraps and fold over the edges to seal.
- Cut slit into the top of each “muffin”
- Brush top with reserve egg if you want.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Let stand 10 or 15 minutes before serving.
