Lemon Bars
Ingredients
- Crust:
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups flour
- Filling:
- 4 eggs
- 4 TAB lemon juice
- Zest of one lemon
- 1 teas baking powder
- 6 TAB flour
- 2 cups sugar
Instructions
- Cut together crust ingredients
- pat into two 8 or 9 inch square pans
- Bake in 350 oven 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile mix together topping.
- Pour over crust as it comes from oven.
- Bake 20 additional minutes or longer until top is set.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into squares when cool.
