Lemon Bars

Ingredients
  • Crust:
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • Filling:
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 TAB lemon juice
  • Zest of one lemon
  • 1 teas baking powder
  • 6 TAB flour
  • 2 cups sugar
Instructions
  1. Cut together crust ingredients
  2. pat into two 8 or 9 inch square pans
  3. Bake in 350 oven 20 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile mix together topping.
  5. Pour over crust as it comes from oven.
  6. Bake 20 additional minutes or longer until top is set.
  7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into squares when cool.
