Chocolate Shortbread

Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa (Dutch preferred)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (or splenda)
  • 2 sticks sweet butter
  • 1 teas vanilla
  • 1/8 cup water if needed.
Instructions
  1. Cut sugar, butter, cocoa, and flour together at once.
  2. When mix starts to come together add vanilla
  3. If using splend you may need to add water
  4. Roll the dough to 1/2 ” thickness.
  5. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters.
  6. Bake at 300 for 25 to 30 minutes.
