Chocolate Shortbread
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa (Dutch preferred)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (or splenda)
- 2 sticks sweet butter
- 1 teas vanilla
- 1/8 cup water if needed.
Instructions
- Cut sugar, butter, cocoa, and flour together at once.
- When mix starts to come together add vanilla
- If using splend you may need to add water
- Roll the dough to 1/2 ” thickness.
- Cut into shapes with cookie cutters.
- Bake at 300 for 25 to 30 minutes.
