| Chocolate Cheesecake |
Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1 1/2 cup chocolate wafer or gingersnap crumbs
- 1 TAB sugar
- 5 TAB melted margarine
- Filling:
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 TAB margarine
- 1/4 cup chocolate liqueur
- 2 8 oz pkgs cream cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Crust:
- Combine crumbs with sugar and melted margarine.
- Pat mixture evenly into 9″ spring-form pan.
- Filling:
- Melt chocolate with margarine and liqueur.
- While cooling beat cream cheese with sugar
- Mix in eggs
- Mix in Sour cream
- Add melted chocolate mixture.
- Pour over crust and bake at 325 for 40 minutes or until filling is barely set.
- Remove from oven and let stand an hour
- Then refrigerate 6 hours at least before serving
Notes
Cheesecakes can always be made with splenda. Sugar free Oreos work wellfor the curst too. Sugar in the crust can be omitted in that case.
