Candy Cane Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine
- 2 TAB vanilla
- 1/2 cup confectioners sugar (or splenda)
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
- 1 teas. salt (opt.)
Instructions
- MIx all ingredients together, as for shortbread until a crumbly dough forms.
- Shape into candy canes (or logs)
- bake for 20 mins at 350 degrees.
- Frost in stripes when cool.
Notes
This is a Clark family recipe. If you make with splenda a bit of water may need to be added.
