| Amaretto Cheesecake |
Ingredients
Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker and gingersnap crumbs
- 1 cup walnuts chopped
- 3/4 cup butter softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- Filling:
- 1/3 cup cream
- 3 (8 ounce packages) cream cheese softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup plus 1 teas. Amaretto
Topping:
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2 TAB sugar
- 1 TAB Amaretto
- Toasted almonds for garnish (opt.)
Instructions
- Crust:
- Combine ingredients all together
- Press into a 10-inch spring-form pan.
- Filling:
- Cream the cheese and sugar
- Then beat in eggs.
- Add cream and Amaretto.
- Pour into crust.
- Bake at 375 for 40 min.
- Let stand for 5 min.
- Topping:
- Combine and spread evenly on cake.
- Bake 5-10 min.
- Cool completely on rack.
- Chill overnight.
- Remove from spring form.
